Meet the trainer
Ali, CPDT-KA
Ali has a lovely lab-hound mix dog named Mai, a saucy tabby cat named Nanaki and she has recently adopted a 1 year old border collie name Kaia.
Ali comes from a media studies and image arts background which she still practices through her photography today. However, when she adopted Mai she became increasingly intrigued with dog behaviour and training so she decided that she wanted to begin a new career working with dogs. Ali felt it was important to work towards a dog training certification which included 300 hours of practical dog training and a 3 hour written exam. She now holds the Certified Professional Dog Trainer- Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) certification, which requires re-certification every 3 years, so you can be sure that she is using up to date, science-based training. Ali hopes to make the dog and human training experience a positive and fun one. She provides owners with the right tools to modify unwanted behaviours while bonding with their pet.
Mai
Mai is a lab-hound mix who came from a farm in Tennessee. She is very tolerant of puppies especially if treats are involved and she loves whipping around the forest. Her nose never lets her down and she can find even the best hidden snack.
Nanaki
Nanaki is a very social grey tabby cat. Don't be fooled by his feline essence, Nanaki is a playful dog at heart who’s best friends all consist of canines.
Kaia
Kaia is a blue merle border collie that turns to jello when she sees her friends. She is a very sweet natured girl who is still learning the ropes of how to live in this world with so many new friends to make and squirrels to chase.
