Most people would agree that the most important thing we can do with our dog is build trust. At Barking Tree we approach training as a fun bonding activity where you will learn how to enrich your dog's life and communicate with them.

Clicker training is an animal training method based on behavioural psychology where you reward desirable behaviour. Clickers can be used on any animal since it is a non-intrusive, high reward way of training. We do not exclusively train with clickers but we do find them extremely beneficial.

At Barking Tree we use positive reinforcement (R+), force free, science-based dog training. We believe these methods to be the most humane and effective way to train your dog. As their guardians we believe in treating our pets with the same love and respect as any other family member.
